Product Highlights:

• Larger window sizes, including Casement windows up to 8-ft. tall, Awning windows up to 6-ft tall by 5 ft wide, and Direct Glaze windows up to 6-ft tall by 10-ft wide.
• Bi-Fold, Sliding Patio, Sliding French, and Swinging French doors up to PG40, suitable for most Santa Cruz and Monterey County projects.
• Builder-focused features like a solid flat frame for convenient shimming and alignment that makes window installation easy.
• A rigid window nailing fin with mitered corners, streamlined field mulling, and the ability to mull within the rough opening with mull reinforcement.

Ultrex Fiberglass is Unmatched

Marvin’s proprietary Ultrex fiberglass features high-density woven fibers bound by a thermally set resin, making it an optimal material for window and door frames for its strength, stability, finish, and energy efficiency.
Its composition gives it resistance against to pressure and temperature shifts, expanding and contracting at nearly the same rate as glass making it more resistant to leaks and seal failures. And a durable finish resists scratches, chalking, and fading, even in dark colors.

The strength of Ultrex fiberglass allows for a reduced frame thickness on Vivid that supports more visible glass, creating a larger view.

Casement, Awning, and Direct Glaze windows have standard performance ratings up to PG50 designed for harsh coastal climates. Doors rate at PG40.
