MARVIN WINDOWS: FEATURED CASE STUDY
Coastal Cottage
Quality, long-lasting materials help this ocean front home weather it all

Tiime for a walk! Cheza and her owner head out for a stroll around the Seabright neighborhood where she built a new home and accessory dwelling unit featuring Marvin windows and doors. (Photos by Matt Berger, Santa Cruz Millwork)
In its previous life the home was a drafty mid-century summer cottage. Until 2024 when it was totally rebuilt to deliver comfort and performance for the next century. A collaboration with Builder Jon Badeaux Construction and Architect Tom Thacher, featuring Marvin's Narrow framed casement windows and French Doors.

Whose that doggy…
The contemporary home is a perfect fit for the superior performance and finish of Marvin’s extruded aluminum exterior clad, seen here with a Bronze finish. The home mostly features fixed and casement-style windows and patio doors, which Cheza appreciates as it gives her a great view of the passers-by and easy access to the coastal breeze.
